About The Job

As a UK Commercial Operations & Trade & Revenue Management (TRM) Analyst, you will work closely with the UK Country Head and TRM Lead to help execute the UK commercial strategy. This is a high‑visibility, developmental role combining commercial analytics, operational execution, and stakeholder engagement. Designed as a talent pipeline opportunity, it offers hands‑on exposure across Trade & Revenue Management and business operations, equipping you with the skills and experience for future growth within Opella. You will play a key role in enabling data‑driven decisions, driving operational excellence, and strengthening collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of TRM strategy, including pricing, portfolio optimisation, and channel mix
  • Contribute to Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including forecasting, performance tracking, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and optimise key commercial datasets and tools (e.g., pricing files, trade spend, forecasts)
  • Generate insights and analysis to support commercial performance and decision‑making
  • Manage operational processes including purchase orders, invoicing, and supplier coordination
  • Coordinate internal activities, including team events, communications, and stakeholder materials
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and adoption of new tools

Key Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query; VBA/Macros a plus)
  • Strong analytical experience within commercial, financial, or operational environments
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed, and cross‑functional environment
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across teams (sales, finance, supply, marketing)
