As part of our UK affiliate, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our healthcare products. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Country Quality Manager to lead our UK Quality System and act as the Responsible Person (RP) and RP for Imports (RP-i) under GDP regulations. Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with GxP, GDP, and national legislation.
- Act as the named RP and RP-i, overseeing GDP activities and ensuring QP certification for imported products.
- Manage supplier and customer approvals, including subcontracted GDP-impacting activities.
- Coordinate product recalls and complaint handling, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Implement and maintain training programs to build quality awareness across teams.
- Conduct self-inspections and audits, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions.
- Oversee product disposition decisions, including returned, rejected, or potentially falsified products.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, medicine, or a related life science.
- At least 2 years of experience as a named Responsible Person on a WDA(H).
- In-depth knowledge of GDP, GxP, and UK/EU regulatory frameworks.
- Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., RPS, RSofC, RSofB, PSNI) for RP-i eligibility.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Quality Systems and lifecycle management, ideally in a consumer healthcare or pharma setting.
