Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Air Conditioning Engineer. Ideally you will be based within 1 hour of Cambridge or Peterborough. The Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems, including associated HVAC equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine and reactive maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely in line with industry standards. The role also involves reviewing building and facility requirements, preparing technical reports and documentation, and coordinating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality service. The engineer will be expected to work independently, manage their schedule effectively, and support remote site operations using digital tools and communication platforms.
No on call rota.
There will be some working away required with plenty of notice provided.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in HVAC system installation, and maintenance, including air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools for remote diagnostics, reporting, and communication, and the ability to work safely in compliance with health and safety regulations.
