Permanent role based nationally (home‑based). As a New Client Adviser, you will be at the forefront of welcoming new clients into Lloyds Wealth, delivering high‑quality advice and ensuring a smooth start to their financial planning journey.
Responsibilities
- Support clients through initial interactions and help them feel informed, reassured and confident about their financial future.
- Use virtual meetings by phone or video to listen, understand each client’s goals, priorities and wider financial circumstances.
- Deliver tailored, holistic advice across protection, investment and long‑term planning needs.
- Manage the client journey for the first three months, ensuring a seamless handover to the ongoing advice team.
- Build trust, explain complex topics clearly and deliver a high‑quality client experience to increase engagement with the Ongoing Advice Service.
- Contribute to a collaborative, client‑focused culture while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning; Level 6 or Chartered status desirable but not essential.
- Strong track record of providing high‑quality financial advice.
- Significant experience conducting client meetings and creating tailored financial plans.
- Broad technical knowledge across financial planning, including protection, investments and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and create a positive client experience.
- Client‑first mindset with a strong focus on Consumer Duty and delivering good client outcomes.
- Confidence working virtually with clients by phone or video.
- Ability to manage a large and varied workload while maintaining attention to detail.
