This is a high-impact senior leadership opportunity at the heart of Lloyds Wealth, shaping and evolving propositions that deliver exceptional client outcomes while driving commercial success. You'll play a pivotal role in influencing strategic direction, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and wider group to ensure our propositions remain competitive, compliant and truly client‐centric in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Lloyds Wealth proposition governance with key responsibility for the smooth running of the Proposition Governance Committee, leading the production and presentation of critical papers.
  • Maintain and oversee a client‐centric end‐to‐end position, ensuring it continues to provide fair value and prevent foreseeable harm.
  • Ensure the proposition is clearly positioned, differentiated and aligned to the firm's overall strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with other senior leaders to identify opportunities to evolve the proposition to improve client outcomes, competitiveness and commercial performance or meet changing needs.
  • Responsible for regular reporting of client fair value metrics and consumer duty outcomes, as well as the production of the annual holistic Client Fair Value Assessment.
  • Lead the evolution of enhanced proposition management information production and reporting to facilitate appropriate identification of risks and issues, swift escalation and mitigation of client harm.
  • Lead the evolution of vulnerable client outcomes oversight.
  • Interpret complex data to inform critical proposition management decisions and act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Advice Services and the Strategic Proposition Director.
  • Establish strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the firm and wider group, including commercial and risk functions, securing buy‐in for core proposition‐related proposals or changes.
  • Remain informed of wider industry developments, competitor activity and regulatory change, with prime responsibility for leading impact assessments, action identification and oversight of action closure.
  • Ensure the proposition meets evolving regulatory expectations and is delivered in line with internal governance frameworks.
  • Own all proposition third‐party relationships and manage the relationship with significant outsource service providers.
  • Continuously demonstrate the core Lloyds Wealth values, set the tone for maintaining professional standards and promote a high‐performing culture focused on evolution and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee a small team; offering support, sharing knowledge and experience, actively listening and building trust.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Significant knowledge and experience across the financial planning and wealth management industry, with an understanding of key competitors.
  • In‐depth understanding of mass affluent financial planning products, client advice journeys, governance and reporting.
  • Degree‐level qualification or relevant financial services professional qualification desirable.
  • Proven experience in end‐to‐end proposition management and oversight within wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of the UK wealth and asset management market and regulatory environment, with a focus on the Consumer Duty.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience of preparing papers and presenting to C‐suite at governance committees.
  • Experience of leading and developing a team within a fast‐paced working environment.
