We are currently seeking an Orthotist who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career at our service based in Bristol. The role will involve working with a complex clinical case load and will be instrumental in developing and implementing service improvements for the betterment of patients in Bristol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of high quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the service.
  • Work closely with MDTs.
  • Lead initiatives within the service development plan.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients to determine their orthotic needs.
  • Develop and implement personalised orthotic treatment plans.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthotic technology and practices.
  • Provide excellent patient care, education, and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Assess, measure, cast, fit, supply, review and adjust orthoses as required.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical notes.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of complex casework in adult and paediatric care.
  • Self-starter with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships through effective verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

  • Certified Orthotist OR HND Orthotics OR BSc Orthotics.
  • Full HCPC Registration.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.

We are currently seeking three experienced Orthotists who are looking for an opportunity to develop their career and be a part of our large and dynamic team in London and surrounding areas. We can offer full-time or part-time positions in some of London’s prestigious hospitals, with opportunities in central London, north London and east London. The role will involve working with a complex clinical case load, presenting exciting opportunities to develop clinical and leadership skillsets. Working with some of the most prestigious hospitals opens the opportunity for career development into specialist areas and leadership.

Person Specification

  • Qualified as a Certified Orthotist, HND Orthotics, or BSc Orthotics.
  • Fully HCPC Registered.

This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A submission for Disclosure will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
