  • Supports and advises colleagues on cost‑effective clinical solutions, ensuring alignment with prescription guidelines and service standards.
  • Leads training and development initiatives, mentoring less experienced clinicians, overseeing student placements and supporting graduate and work experience programmes.
  • Delivers professional training and presentations to internal teams, external stakeholders, and at clinical or academic forums.
  • Engages in regular CPD activities, including reflective practice, to maintain and develop clinical knowledge, and shares learning to enhance team‑wide clinical knowledge.
  • Actively leads audits, service evaluations, and local or cross‑centre research providing guidance to colleagues on accurate documentation, data integrity, and effective written communication.
  • Demonstrates strong awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring practice aligns with service expectations and supporting colleagues to meet performance standards.

Skills and Experience:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills – including formal and informal communication.
  • Proven record of working within an active, fast paced clinical environment.
  • Evidence of involvement in specialist clinical focus within discipline through teaching, research or demonstrated skill.
  • Experience of having an active, leadership role in an MDT environment.
  • Working proactively and collaboratively in the team and wider trust.
  • Interest in service development and/or evidence of involvement.
  • Able to prioritise, plan and organise efficiently and work with multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Sound working knowledge of Rehapp.
  • Experience mentoring students or graduates.
  • Knowledge or experience with CAD/CAM.

Qualifications:
