  • Work independently within established protocols, adhering to prescription guidelines with minimal supervision.
  • Provide expert second opinions and clinical leadership, contributing to multidisciplinary team (MDT) decision-making and supporting the management of complex cases.
  • Travel to multiple Opcare orthotic clinics as required, delivering consistently high standards of care to patients and customers.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring clinical practice aligns with service expectations and supporting colleagues to achieve performance standards.
Skills and Experience:
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both formal and informal.
  • Proven experience working within a busy, fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Evidence of specialist clinical focus within the discipline through teaching, research, or advanced clinical skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple competing demands.

  • Sound working knowledge of REHAPP (Opcare's clinical management system).
  • Experience mentoring students or graduates.

  • Relevant MSc, or postgraduate qualifications in a clinical area.
  • Practice educator training.
  • BAPO member.
  • ISPO member.
What we Offer:
  • Competitive market salary, Company Car and Travel Allowance.
  • Incremental holiday allowance starting at 35 days, increasing to 41 days with length of service (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Buy & Sell Annual Leave Scheme.
