We are currently seeking an experienced Orthotist who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career and be a part of our Staffordshire wide orthotic service. The role will be based across Staffordshire covering our orthotic services in Stoke, Burton and Cannock. The successful applicant will work with an experienced clinical team, supportive administrative staff and have access to local workshop facilities and technicians for adjustments and alterations.
This role will provide an opportunity for an ambitious clinician to step into a position that will challenge them and provide opportunities to develop clinically across a range of practice areas. The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients in the Staffordshire area. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service.
We aim to deliver a first-class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the delivery of high-quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the service
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT’s)
- Inputting and leading on initiatives within the centre service development plan
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients to determine their orthotic needs
- Develop and implement personalised orthotic treatment plans
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthotic technology and practices
- Provide excellent patient care, education, and support throughout the treatment process
- Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing and adjusting orthoses as required
