OCU have opportunities for distribution Linesmen to join our overhead lines team based in Huntly! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Linesman to strengthen our new connections OHL division. You will predominantly be working at LV and 11kV, but also completing 33kV projects. Existing Scottish and Southern Energy Networks operational authorisation is a must, and this can be further developed on with in house training.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out OHL operational activities – constructing new, upgrading existing and dismantling old network for new underground cables at LV, 11kV and 33kV.
- Ensuring the delivery of work safely, to the correct standard of quality and specification.
- Responsible for your own safety, as well as your colleagues.
- Driving a safety-first culture.
- Completion of necessary paperwork and updating tablet-based works management system.
Skills & Experience
- SSEN Operational Authorisations.
- OHL experience at multiple voltages.
- NRSWA accreditations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations.
- Attention to detail.
