Integrum Power Engineering - Part of the OCU Group, is an electrical engineering design & build contractor and ICP specialising in high voltage power transmission & distribution projects. Our industry sectors include utilities, renewable energy, rail and private networks. We offer engineering services across the full project life-cycle, from feasibility studies and design through to installation, commissioning and asset management.

The Document Control Manager will sit within the Business Support Function and report directly to the Directors. This role will manage the use, functionality, and compliance of the Viewpoint for Projects software. The Document Control Manager must have significant experience in developing and continuously improving the use of the software within the business, ensuring efficient document control processes and adherence to industry standards.

What does the role entail?

  • Software Management: Oversee the use and functionality of Viewpoint for Projects software, ensuring it meets the needs of the business.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement document control processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the use of Viewpoint for Projects software, identifying opportunities for optimisation and implementing best practices.
  • Software Expansion: Expand the use of the software to other departments beyond design and engineering.
  • Compliance: Ensure all document control processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on the use of Viewpoint for Projects software and document control processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of document quality and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the Directors on document control performance and software utilisation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to document control and software usage.
  • Support: Provide ongoing support to the Business Support Function and other departments as needed.

What do you need to be considered?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control management within the engineering and construction industry.
  • Significant experience with Viewpoint for Projects software.
  • Proven track record of developing and continuously improving document control processes.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in document control software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
