As we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced Construction Managers to join our expanding delivery team, overseeing complex and exciting utility and infrastructure projects nationwide.
What will I be doing?
As a Construction Manager at the OCU Group, you’ll take the lead in managing all onsite activities across our UK-wide projects. You’ll be responsible for delivering works safely, on time and within budget, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
We will be looking for you to lead and manage all stages of construction delivery on multiple project sites, coordinating resources, subcontractors and materials to ensure efficient site operations.
Safety is our number one priority; therefore you will ensure adherence to all health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies, working closely with project planners, engineer and commercial teams to align schedules and budgets.
You will act as the main point of contact between site teams.
What we\’re looking for:
You will show in your applicationsignificant experience as a Construction Manager in the utilities, infrastructure or engineering sector and be able to demonstrate leadership and team management capabilities on multi-site projects. Alongside this, we are seeking individuals with:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, UK regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in project scheduling, reporting, and resource coordination
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on safe and efficient delivery
