Bathurst Riverview Care Community is offering a Cert IV apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery for a motivated school leaver. Learn your trade under the guidance of our on-site Head Chef and prepare nourishing, flavourful food that strengthens the body, warms the heart, and inspires the soul for residents living in our Care Community.

Role requirements and responsibilities:

  • Leaving High School to work full time Year 10 -12 (16 years old+)
  • Food preparation and mise en place
  • Food presentation and plating
  • FIFO food storage
  • Texture modification in line with the IDDSI framework
