We’re looking for an experienced CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working with a modern fleet of fully equipped CCTV survey vans using the latest inspection technology. If you’ve got a strong technical background in drainage, take pride in producing accurate reports, and enjoy a mix of site and lone working — this is a great opportunity to step into a well-supported, forward-thinking team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting CCTV inspections of drainage systems using specialist equipment
- Assessing pipe conditions and producing detailed, high-quality reports
- Working independently or as part of a team on live sites
- Ensuring all survey data is accurately recorded and processed
- Recommending and logging further works where required
- Looking after your allocated CCTV van and equipment
This is a hands-on, technical role where accuracy and attention to detail really matter.
What We’re Looking For
- OS19 qualification (or equivalent) essential
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Strong CCTV drainage experience (mainline systems)
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Comfortable working independently and on site
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- CSCS card (valid and up to date)
- Confined Spaces certification
- High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate
- Basic computer literacy (email, internet, reporting systems)
- Experience using WinCan (v7/v8)
Desirable Experience
- Streetworks / NRSWA card
- CAT scanning and drainage location/sonde tracing
- Experience working on highways, construction, or utilities projects
- Groundworks and working alongside design/construction teams
