We’re seeking an experienced and dependable HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a growing team delivering critical drainage and liquid waste services across major water utility sites. If you’ve worked within the utilities or water industry and want a long-term opportunity with a respected operation, this could be the role for you.
The Role
- Operating specialist vacuum tankers and supporting essential frontline utility works, including:
- Responding to emergency call-outs involving flooding, sewer blockages, pollution incidents, and drainage issues
- Carrying out the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of liquid waste
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and compliance paperwork
- Working in line with strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Supporting operational teams across a range of utility projects
This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and ongoing development opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Class 1 advantageous)
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Previous utilities or water industry experience essential
- Tanker or jetting experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
- Flexible approach to nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs
- Reliable, professional, and willing to learn new skills
