Join Our Solar Squad
We are looking for a skilled Solar PV Engineer to jump into our solar operations team. If you love hands-on work and keeping solar PV systems running safe, smooth, and efficient, this could be your next gig!
What you'll be up to:
- Fixing, testing, and maintaining solar PV systems
- Spotting issues and sorting them out, whether planned or unexpected
- Troubleshooting AC and DC faults
- Logging your daily wins in our online system
- Keeping sites safe with risk assessments and reporting near misses
- Coordinating contractors and making sure everyone works safely
- Staying up to speed on health, safety, and fire regulations
- Being ready for the occasional night away or weekend rota (with extra pay!)
What you bring to the table:
- Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
- HV AP qualification
- 3+ years Solar PV O&M experience (ground mount)
- Solid knowledge of AC/DC and HV systems, plus testing gear
- Familiar with CCTV and SCADA systems
- First Aid & Fire Marshal trained (or keen to learn)
- Bonus points for Harness and IOSH qualifications (we can train!)
