You are an experienced product designer who thinks systematically, prioritises accessibility, and thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
You have a strong track record of working within centralised product teams, helping to drive adoption and scalability of mature design systems across libraries and codebases.
You bring solid UX/UI skills but specialise in systems thinking and accessibility-first design.
What You’ll Bring

— Component Design and Creation: Ability to translate UX/UI patterns into robust, scalable, accessible components atomically.
— Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers to ensure components are technically feasible and scalable across platforms.
— Accessibility Advocacy: Deep working knowledge of accessibility standards and upcoming European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements, with a passion for inclusive design.
— Workflow and Governance: Familiarity with defining and managing processes for the creation, maintenance, and adoption of design system components and design tokens.
— Multi-platform Design: Strong experience designing for iOS, Android, and responsive web, ensuring seamless experiences across devices.
— Technical Awareness: Solid understanding of development frameworks such as React and native mobile technologies. Knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS practices is a plus.
— Design Tokens: Hands-on experience using tokenised design systems; comfortable working with semantic structures and integrated systems like Supernova (or similar).
What You’ll Do
— Partner with a Staff Product Designer leading the design systems effort and accessibility initiatives across the organisation.
— Create new components from scratch and from page mockups, ensuring consistency across Android, iOS, and Web code platforms.
— Conduct design reviews of engineered components and validate them through demo applications and documentation.
— Collaborate closely with product designers and engineers across teams to gather context, build new components, and drive adoption of the system.
— Facilitate feedback loops with design and engineering teams to continuously improve the quality and usability of the system.
— Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accessibility, and excellence in design craft.
Nice to Have
— Fintech/Payments Experience: 4+ years of product design experience, ideally within fintech, banking, or payment-focused environments.
