We seek an experienced Power Apps / Power Pages / Power Automate Developer to review our UK Government client's existing BOU Secure Portal build, support live incidents, deliver enhancements, and upskill the internal development team. You will work closely with the Test Manager to improve application stability and test-readiness.
Responsibilities
- Review the current Power Apps / Power Pages solution and identify areas for improvement.
- Automate Business Process Workflows using Power Automate.
- Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents and deliver fixes.
- Develop small enhancements and improvements across Power Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
- Build, troubleshoot, and optimise Copilot Studio plugins and relevant integrations.
- Ensure all changes are compatible with our current automation framework.
- Upskill internal developers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge transfer.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Power Apps (Model-driven & Canvas), Power Automate, and Power Pages.
- Deep knowledge of Dataverse, security roles, entity permissions, authentication, and site configurations.
- Proficient in scripting and client-side customisation.
- Experience developing and maintaining Copilot Studio plugins, actions, and API integrations.
- Experience building AI agents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for live system support.
- Hands-on experience with Power Automate, custom connectors, and ALM practices.
Desirable Skills
- Experience transitioning vendor-built Power Platform solutions into internal ownership.
- Understanding of automation requirements and testability for Power Platform solutions.
- Ability to train and mentor junior developers/testers.

- Reduced dependency on external suppliers for incident resolution.

This role will fall Inside IR35. You will be expected to work at least 3 days per week in the client's London, EC3 office and 2 days remotely. This is mandatory, so please do not apply if you cannot attend 3 days per week. The role requires UK Government (not BPSS or CTC) SC level security clearance so candidates must meet UK baseline requirements to be eligible for vetting (UK residence for 3 out of last 5 years, etc). Preference will be given to candidates already SC security cleared.
