We are a busy, high-volume restaurant business in Central London looking for a reliable part-time bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping and supplier reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone experienced with hospitality accounting who is detail-oriented and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and reconcile supplier invoices (e.g. food & beverage suppliers).
- Match invoices to bank payments.
- Maintain accurate monthly P&L and expense records.
- Ensure all invoices are posted in the correct accounting period.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
- Flag missing invoices or discrepancies proactively.
- Work closely with management to keep accounts up to date.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in restaurants or hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of UK VAT for hospitality.
- Able to work to deadlines without supervision.
- Based in the UK (remote or hybrid).
Hours & Pay
- Part-time: 10 hours per month.
