Since launching the world’s first portable wood-pellet pizza oven in 2012, Ooni has grown into an award-winning, multinational company with a product range loved by pizza makers all over the globe. Our mission has always been to design innovative products that spark joy in our customers, and whilst we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far - we’re only just getting started.
As part of our plans, we’re looking for a Go To Market Project Manager to join our Category Management team. Are you looking to apply your tried and tested project management experience to something new? Looking to flex your phenomenal organisational skills and be at the heart of exciting product launches and campaigns? From GTM project initiation to completion you’ll get the chance to use all of your skills in this fast-paced role.
You’ll have your finger on the pulse of delivering new products to market, get to know colleagues and decision-makers across the business and know who to call to get key pieces of information. You’ll be pulling people together and making sure that everyone knows what’s happening when, and landing what’s needed bang on time.
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our offices in Edinburgh & Broxburn.
What you’ll do:
- Project Orchestration & Delivery
- Lead the Charge: Initiate & Lead GTM projects, driving everything from initial product introductions to 'Go-Live' and post-launch reviews.
- Master the Timeline: Develop and maintain detailed project plans that map out every GTM milestone across multiple functions including Marketing, Category and Creative.
- Global Coordination: Manage the complexities of global launches, ensuring that regional teams in the UK, US, and beyond are aligned on timing, activity, and messaging.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Influencing: You’ll have confidence leading projects, running meetings and challenging when needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with a variety of stakeholders and teams to provide at-a-glance visibility on project health, surfacing risks early and proposing solutions.
- Risk & Quality Management
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify 'pinch points' in the launch cycle—whether it’s a shipping delay or a creative asset bottleneck—and pivot the team to keep the launch on track.
- Documentation & Record keeping: Take ownership of a project’s documentation throughout its lifecycle, tracking and reporting project status, managing risk, and ensuring key deliverables are met on time.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven Project Management Experience: You’ll have previous experience managing complex projects from inception to delivery. You aren't just a 'task-tracker'; you are a driver who anticipates roadblocks before they appear.
- Marketing & Commercial Savvy: You’ve spent time within a Marketing or Category department. You speak the language of 'campaigns,' 'channel readiness,' and 'customer journeys.'
- Excellent Organisational Skillset: Your processes are works of art, and your project timelines are foolproof. You have a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams without dropping the ball.
- Tenacious Problem Solver: When a deadline is at risk, you don’t just report it—you find a solution. You are comfortable 'leaning in' and challenging stakeholders (kindly!) to keep things on track.
- Communication Excellence: You can distill complex project updates into clear, actionable briefs for leadership and cross-functional teams alike.
- A 'Quality First' Mindset: You have a meticulous eye for detail. Whether it’s a product spec or a campaign asset, you ensure everything meets the high standards our customers expect.
- Stakeholder Management & Crossfunctional Collaboration: You excel at pulling people together. You know how to motivate teams that don’t report to you directly to hit their milestones.
You’ll get bonus points if:
- Industry Experience: You’ve worked in a fast-paced Consumer Goods or hardware environment.
- Global Perspective: You have experience navigating the complexities of international markets, including managing stakeholders across different time zones (specifically UK and US).
- GTM Expertise: 'Gold Star' if you understand the product manufacturing lifecycle.
- Certified: You hold a recognised qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile.
