As part of our plans, we’re looking for a
Logistics Manager to lead our UK & EU Outbound operations and oversee Wholesale Order Management.
This is a hybrid role, working
3 days per week from our office in Edinburgh, Scotland.
What you’ll do
- 1. Outbound Logistics & 3PL Operations (UK & EU)
- 3PL Partner
Oversight: Lead operational relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing and fulfillment partners across the UK and EU.
Drive weekly operational performance , maintain SLA/KPI compliance, resolve operational issues and promote joint continuous improvement.
- Outbound Freight & Last-Mile
Management: Oversee outbound transportation flows across the UK and European mainland, ensuring all DTC, Wholesale, and Marketplace shipments meet timing, quality and cost plans.
- Carrier Performance & Cost Control: Monitor carrier performance (OTIF, damaged goods, tracking rates). Review freight invoices, and drive continuous cost-to-serve improvements.
- Budget Oversight : Oversee warehouse and distribution budgets, partnering with finance to review forecasting and cost analysis
- Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement projects, peak-season preparation and system updates.

Fulfillment: Oversee the end-to-end execution of Wholesale sales orders - from PO entry, inventory allocation, and booking slots to final delivery at major wholesale partner accounts.
- Vendor Compliance & Routing
Guides: Ensure outbound shipments conform strictly to major wholesaler routing guides, pallet specifications and compliance standards to eliminate chargebacks.
- Collaboration with Commercial Teams: Partner closely with the Ooni Sales team, to provide clear visibility on order status, delivery timelines, and inventory availability.
- Data Accuracy & Governance: Ensure the integrity of orders , pricing and delivery data within the systems
What you’ll need to succeed
This role is ideal for a proactive, solution-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at turning operational bottlenecks into opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will be a natural collaborator with exceptional communication skills, seamlessly building strong, lasting partnerships across internal teams—including Sales, Finance, and IT—as well as with external service providers to drive collective success.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous progressive experience in outbound logistics, supply chain, or distribution, ideally within FMCG, consumer hardware, or retail goods.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high performing teams
- Hands-on experience managing regional 3PL warehouse partners and in-depth knowledge of parcel/freight carriers in both the UK and continental Europe.
- Strong knowledge of delivering DTC orders.
Track record of success in managing Wholesale account compliance, vendor booking portals, routing guides, and Wholesale order processing.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems (ideally Net Suite) and WMS/TMS integrations.
- Strong data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling) to track metrics and carrier performance.
- Advanced reporting and analytical skills, with experience creating dashboards and performance reports that identify trends, and support operational decision-making.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve reporting, reduce manual administration, and increase process efficiency across operational workflows.
