As part of our plans, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our EU & Rest of world Logistics team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator role in the Inbound team will provide support on our Global Inbound Movements, as well as our International Distributor Shipments. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our office in Edinburgh.
What you’ll do:
- Global Inbound Movements
- Partner Collaboration: Collaborate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to organise, coordinate, and monitor inbound shipments to our global distribution centres.
- Stock Reconciliation & ERP Upkeep: Coordinate inbound stock movements by generating systematic receipts and ensuring accurate delivery dates are maintained in NetSuite.
- Logistics Operations: Obtain competitive shipping quotes, arrange transport bookings, and prepare complete, compliant shipping documentation.
- Database Integrity: Maintain rigorous, accurate records across NetSuite and other warehouse management systems.
- Performance Analysis: Generate and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and drive data-backed decision‑making.
- Cross‑Functional Support: Provide regular, clear updates to internal departments to support broader business and sales needs.
- International Distributor Shipments
- Timeline Management: Proactively sync factory timelines with sales and customer expectations.
- Invoicing & Compliance: Oversee and execute order invoicing, ensuring full financial compliance and accurate billing for international Free on Board (FOB) shipments.
- Account Management Liaison: Liaise with Key Account Managers to guarantee FOB business operations execute seamlessly.
- Consolidation Warehouse Monitoring: Monitor, track, and report on inventory levels and logistics activities at our consolidation warehouse.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A foundational understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, ideally supported by previous experience in an office/warehouse environment, internships, or relevant academic studies.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, including proficiency with formulas, sorting bulk data, and managing spreadsheets for analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving capability with a genuine interest in analysing data and spotting operational patterns.
- Superb attention to detail and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage daily tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a highly collaborative attitude when working across internal departments and with external global partners.
- Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new software. Previous exposure to an ERP or inventory management system is highly advantageous (experience with NetSuite is a strong asset).
