Since launching the world’s first portable wood‑pellet pizza oven in 2012, Ooni has grown into an award‑winning, multinational company with a product range loved by pizza makers all over the globe. As part of our plans, we’re looking for a Global Social Content Creator to join our social media team and become our in‑house social native expert. This role is for a social‑obsessed creative, with their finger on the pulse of trends to turn an idea into high performing content that makes Ooni part of the global conversation. The camera eats first. This isn’t about overly polished ads; it’s about engaging social‑first storytelling that stops the scroll and invites our community to the table. You’ll have the creative freedom to ideate, film, and edit bespoke content tailored to each platform, from “day‑in‑the‑life” EGC that humanises our brand on TikTok to deep‑diving into analytics to refine the next social series for Instagram. If you’re a creative storyteller who is as comfortable behind a camera as you are in front of a flame, we want to talk to you.

Our offices feature an expansive kitchen space with the full Ooni product range available for filming. You’ll sit within the Communications & Engagement team and report to the Global Social Media Manager. This is hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our office in Edinburgh.

What you’ll do:

  • Ideate, film, and edit high-quality, entertaining short‑form video natively tailored for TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.
  • Act as our eyes and ears for emerging trends, audio drops, and cultural moments, proposing quick, reactive ways to keep Ooni in the conversation.
  • Produce compelling Employee‑Generated Content (EGC) that educates and entertains while feeling like a natural fit for each platform.
  • Push creative boundaries by testing new in‑app features, editing tools, hooks, and video formats to see what sticks.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic, multi‑channel content calendar to ensure a steady stream of content across all platforms.
  • Ensure every post is consistent and on‑brand, nailing Ooni’s unique tone of voice while resonating with our global community.
  • Work alongside a team of fellow social natives to brainstorm and execute multi‑channel campaigns and content streams.
  • Keep a pulse on high‑level metrics like engagement, reach, and views, using these insights to validate your creative instincts and optimise performance.
  • Maintain an organised “Content Library” of assets to be used by our teams across the globe.
  • Partner with regional teams to help deliver and adapt video content that hits home in local markets.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A Proven Portfolio: You have a sharp creative eye and a track record of producing thumb‑stopping short‑form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) that people actually want to watch.
  • An Editing Wizard: You’re a pro at turning raw footage into gold, whether you’re using in‑app tools or powerhouse software like CapCut, Premiere Rush or Adobe.
  • Socially Obsessed: You live and breathe social trends. You inherently understand the “vibe” of each platform and know exactly what content will fly and what will flop.
  • A Growth Mindset: You know how to build a community, boost engagement, and scale brand visibility across multiple channels.
  • Systems Savvy: You’re comfortable with CMS and scheduling tools. If you’re already a fan of Sprout Social and Notion, you’ll fit right in.
  • A Sharp Storyteller: You write copy that connects. From witty captions to high‑conversion hooks, you know how to engage our community.
  • A Multitasking Pro: You can balance a busy production schedule, from brainstorms and shoot days, with reactive trend‑jacking to remain as agile as the algorithm.
  • A Deft Hand in the Kitchen: You’re a confident, proficient cook who genuinely loves to experiment with recipes. You’re as comfortable with a pizza peel as you are with a camera.
