We are looking for someone who will drive hands‑on product excellence and strategy while collaborating and supporting our talented team of individual product managers covering Shopify, the Ooni App, and Service Experience (CX Tech/Automation). Your ultimate goal is to scale our digital real estate to drive measurable business outcomes around customer lifetime value, retention, satisfaction, and operational efficiency. For the foreseeable future, this role will also function as the Product Manager for our Customer Service tech platforms. We want you to deliver a world‑class, frictionless end‑to‑end customer lifecycle that brings as much joy as a perfectly cooked pizza.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership: Act as the lead for all Ooni Digital Platforms, ensuring global scalability, security, and a seamless, premium user experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and help us build a high‑performing digital product management organisation across all consumer facing technologies, including ecommerce, app, customer experience and events. Drive accountability, innovation, and user‑centricity across these specialties.
- Roadmap development: Translate high‑level business objectives into a long‑term digital product vision. Align individual platform roadmaps to maximise cross‑functional impact and efficiency.
- Prioritisation: Balance commercial deliverables with architectural health, ensuring all digital initiatives reflect maximum customer value and business viability as well as unlocking new revenue opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Ooni and our strategic partnerships (eg. external development resources, our outsourced CX partner) to deliver priorities and ensure great customer experiences. You’ll also be responsible for contract negotiations, budget management and vendor relationships across our external partners.
- Unified Customer View: Oversee the technical synchronisation and data flow across our entire digital stack, ensuring seamless integrations between Shopify, the Ooni App, customer service platforms and downstream logistics/tracking tools.
- Data Integrity & Strategy: Partner with the data and analytics teams to ensure clean data pipelines that unlock seamless customer insights and robust commercial reporting.
- AI & Automation Champion: Steer the team in implementing cutting‑edge AI‑powered solutions, chatbots, and intelligent workflows to drastically reduce manual burdens on internal and external team members while speeding up customer resolutions.
- CX Product Management: Develop and deliver the CX specific roadmap including platform management and integration, reporting, and technical support and troubleshooting.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: progressive digital product management experience in an e‑commerce, D2C, or consumer software environment, with proven experience leading and scaling other Product Managers.
- Customer focus: We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with experience in CX product management roles.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep, enterprise‑level familiarity with modern e‑commerce platforms (Shopify), native mobile applications, and CX enablement/CRM environments (e.g., Gladly, Zendesk, Salesforce).
- Technical & Data Literacy: Strong understanding of API integrations, cloud data flows, and automated customer journeys. You are comfortable evaluating technical architecture and partnering closely with Engineering leaders.
- Strategic Influence: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing executive leadership and aligning cross‑functional teams around a shared digital vision.
