The Role

This Finance Operations Assistant role reports into the Finance Operations Manager.

This role is an entry into Finance and is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their career in Finance.

This role will play a crucial role in supporting the team by processing our customers financial transactions, processing our business expenses and invoices and ensuring a smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

What you’ll be getting up to

  • Process payments to our intermediaries for advances and commissions and other routine payments.
  • Allocate customer payments to their agreements.
  • Process customer refunds and redress payments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Process and record supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile and process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance-related queries, building effective relationships and delivering excellent support to colleagues across the business.
  • Work with our wider Finance Teams to help drive business performance.
  • Assist with audits and requests for financial information by providing accurate documentation.

This role will be a great fit if you have

  • A desire to start your career in a finance role.
  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel including LOOKUPs & Pivot tables.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
