Payout Advisor

Manchester

£25,000 – £28,000 p.a. DOE plus yearly bonus

Weekly shift patterns – Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm / 10am to 6.30pm and 11.30pm to 8pm (37.5 hours per week)

Weekend shifts are Saturday 10-6pm and Sunday 10-4pm – you’ll work 1 in every 3 weekends

Hybrid working – 3 days in the office 2 at home

We’re looking for a Payout Advisor with a finance background to join a team of talented and social professionals. You will be supporting the Payout function of the loan process and ensuring a smooth journey for our customers.

The Payout team is a crucial part of Oodles Loan Processing department. We deliver a thorough and efficient service to our Dealer and Broker partners via effective teamwork with other operational departments.

The role will cover the following but is not limited to:

Your day-to-day work will be a mix of verifying documentation and managing workflow, which may include :

  • Checking and verifying all loan documentation received from customers is present, accurate, genuine and matches the details stored on the systems.
  • Ensuring all required AML, KYC, Fraud, and car checks are satisfied prior to pay out.
  • Prioritising daily payout workflow based on customer and business requirements.
  • Liaising with customers on the phone and via email where necessary and effectively deal with any potentially sensitive financial issues.

The role will be a great fit if you have :

  • Knowledge of : Data Protection Act, Money Laundering Regulations, Credit Risk Policy.
  • The ability to follow procedures and work within a regulated environment.
  • The ability to ensure appropriate authorities and escalations are adhered to through processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good initiative, logical thinker, skilled at problem solving, curious and inquisitive.
  • Strong team player who has a hunger to learn and evolve.
  • Ability work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have :

  • Experience working within the finance industry preferable
  • Prior experience in document verification
