The Role
We’re looking for a mid-weight Product Designer to join our cross-functional product team and own their design projects end-to-end across the customer journey. You’ll be embedded in a team alongside product managers and engineers, helping us ship work that’s both well-crafted and commercially meaningful. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract.
What You’ll Do:
- Taking design from initial discovery and sketching through to polished, high fidelity UI ready to build
- Working closely with product managers and engineers to understand problems before jumping to solutions
- Running and contributing to user research - and using those insights to validate decisions and iterate
- Designing across web and mobile, with a strong awareness of cross device experience
- Benchmarking fintech and automotive trends to bring informed, relevant thinking to the team
- Presenting your work clearly at different stages, and adapting ideas based on feedback
- Contributing to design quality in the team, joining crits and maintaining a high bar for accessibility and UX
- Supporting the marketing team with design needs including website, email campaigns and presentation decks
Who you are:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product experience
- Solid UI, interaction and visual design skills
- Demonstrable commercial experience in a product design role
- Expert level Figma skills, including prototyping
- Clear, organised communication
- A collaborative mindset, you give and receive feedback well
- Self-motivated and able to manage priorities and deadlines
