About OOBE

OOBE is a landscape architecture practice of around 25 colleagues working across four studios. Operating across a number of sectors—including Education, Residential, Commercial, and Regeneration—we have some exciting project and business development opportunities ahead.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Workplace Manager to lead workplace operations across our growing practice. The Workplace Manager has a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring our studios operate efficiently, compliantly and in a way that supports both our people and our project delivery. It’s a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the business. Working closely with Directors and the wider team, you’ll oversee, while driving continuous improvement, workplace operations, compliance processes and business support functions across multiple locations. A primary part of the role will focus on ISO standards, accreditations and audit readiness, ensuring the practice remains compliant and aligned with best practice frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of multiple studio locations
  • Managing workplace operations, facilities and supplier relationships
  • Maintaining the QMS – specifically the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 processes with the Operations Director
  • Maintaining CHAS, Constructionline and other business accreditations
  • Coordinating internal and external audits and maintaining audit readiness
  • Developing and improving operational systems and processes
  • Supporting onboarding, employee processes and wellbeing initiatives
  • Coordinating operational and finance-related workflows with internal teams
  • Acting as a key operational point of contact across the practice

About You

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in workplace, operations or office management
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across different areas of a business
  • Confident coordinating processes, systems and compliance activities
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys improving how things work
  • A strong communicator who builds positive relationships across teams

Additional Information

This role supports multiple studio locations across the UK - Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Birmingham - and will involve occasional travel between offices.
