Onyx is the agency designed for TikTok, founded by exâTikTok employees and industry leaders. Our mission is to guide brands on how they can maximise the exploding social commerce opportunity on TikTok and drive meaningful results for their business.
We are looking for a handsâon Social Media Content Creator to join our agency team on a freelance basis, supporting the creation and delivery of socialâfirst content across multiple brands. This role sits at the intersection of creator collaboration, content production, and platformânative execution, ideal for someone who is confident behind the camera, comfortable editing shortâform video, and organised when working across several client accounts at once.
You will work closely with Social Media Managers, Strategists, and Creatives to bring content calendars to life, support UGC creator partnerships, and produce timely, engaging content both in our studio and on location. We will typically brief weekly with weekly turnaround required, but this will vary based on client demand.
Content Creation & Production- UGC content production: Film and edit socialâfirst, creatorâstyle shortâform video for TikTok, produced inâstudio and on location, including reactive, trendâled, and performanceâdriven formats.
- Livestream content production: Support live moments through the creation of preâlive teasers, behindâtheâscenes content, and postâlive highlight cutâdowns to drive discovery, attendance, and conversion.
- Highâproduction product content: Capture and edit elevated, studioâquality product shots and storytelling assets optimised for vertical video, ensuring brand consistency while remaining platformânative and culturally relevant.
- Edit and repurpose existing footage into platformâoptimised assets across multiple channels.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines while remaining platformânative and culturally relevant.
- Assist with organising content libraries, versioning, and usage rights.
- Contribute creative ideas and formats to support alwaysâon and campaign content plans.
- Work closely with internal teams including Social Media and Live Operations to ensure smooth content delivery.
- Support fastâturnaround requests and reactive content needs in a dynamic agency environment.
Essential skills and experience for the role:
- Experience creating and editing shortâform video for social media (agency or brand side).
- Strong editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar.
- Confident filming content on mobile and/or camera, both in studio and on location.
- Excellent understanding of social platforms, trends, and content best practices (TikTok).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple brands and priorities.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
Additional skills a bonus:
- Experience working on campaigns for the German market and/or fluency in German (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with content calendar tools and asset management systems.
- Basic understanding of analytics and what drives social performance.
- Agency experience managing multiple clients.
