Onyx Newsroom is looking for a sharp and curious copywriter to help us craft intelligent, high-impact articles. Our audience is mainly C-suite and industry professionals. We report on all sorts of industries, however our main focuses are life sciences, climate sciences and travel.
We often publish content withFortune and Newsweek.
The Role
We’re looking for a talented freelance copywriter to produce insightful, engaging articles on a fixed-fee basis. You’ll work with our editorial team to craft stories that resonate.
Responsibilities
- Research to inform your articles
- Write original, polished copy that matches Onyx’s style
- Collaborate with editors to refine structure, messaging, and accuracy
- Deliver on agreed deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards
What We’re Looking For
- Copywriting experience
- Experience writing sponsored content is a plus, but not necessary.
- Native-level English proficiency and skillful writing
- Passion for one or more of our core beats
- Ability to independently pitch ideas, craft narratives, and respond well to feedback
