Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Digital & Affiliate Marketing Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and analytical professional who is passionate about digital marketing with a keen focus on SEO, and affiliate partnerships. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality content that enhances our online visibility, optimising for search engines, and managing affiliate relationships to drive traffic and conversions for Onyx Gaming and its brands.

Hybrid Work
This is a full-time role based primarily in our Colchester office, with the flexibility of some remote working.

We are expanding into brand-new offices equipped with electric standing desks, high-spec gaming chairs, and stocked snacks and drinks. You’ll be joining at an exciting time where you can play a key role in shaping the future culture of our business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimised content, including blog posts, landing pages, and marketing copy.
- SEO Strategy: Conduct keyword research, optimise content for search engines, and develop strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Affiliate Marketing: Manage and grow our affiliate program, build relationships with partners, and optimise campaigns for performance.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor website traffic, engagement metrics, and affiliate performance using analytics tools.
- Content Outreach & Link Building: Develop partnerships for guest posts, backlinks, and collaborative marketing.
- Industry Research: Stay up to date with the latest trends in SEO, content marketing, and the iGaming industry.
Requirements
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in SEO content writing and affiliate marketing.
- Knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Ability to create compelling, engaging, and persuasive copy.
- Analytical mindset to assess and improve content and marketing performance.
- Experience in the iGaming, sports betting, or casino industry is a major plus.
- A passion for sports – familiarity with at least two of the following: Football, Horse Racing, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball, Darts, Golf, American Football, or Boxing.
- A sense of humour and a team-player attitude.
Pluses
- Experience with WYSIWYG CMS Platforms, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing networks and tracking platforms.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
