We have a great opportunity for a Power Platform Developer to join the team. Design, build, and deploy Power Apps Canvas applications for the Operator Portal, covering dashboard, letter management, and audit trail screens. Implement Power Automate flows to enable dual‑approval workflows, configure SQL and Dataverse connectors for secure data access, and ensure responsive interfaces with RBAC integration. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, optimise performance, and align delivery with organisational standards.
Responsibilities
- Build Canvas Apps with responsive layouts (containers, breakpoints, adaptive controls).
- Develop Operator Portal modules:
- Dashboard (KPIs, filters, drill‑downs)
- Letter management (create, edit, versioning, status)
- Audit trail (change history, user actions, timestamping)
Key Skills & Experience
- Power Apps (Canvas Apps): Responsive design, components, Power Fx, forms & galleries, theming.
- Power Automate: Approval flows, error handling, retries, pagination, monitoring.
- Data & Connectors: SQL Connector, Dataverse, connection references, environment variables.
- Security & Access: RBAC, Dataverse security roles, Azure AD groups, field‑level/security roles.
- UI/UX: Wireframing, accessibility, usability heuristics, consistent navigation and app patterns.
- DevOps/ALM: Solution packaging, environment strategy, Git, Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Quality: Unit testing with test harness components, flow testing, performance tuning, logging.
Hands‑on Power Platform Developer with proven experience building Power Apps Canvas applications and Power Automate workflows for business‑critical portals. Skilled in designing responsive UI/UX, implementing RBAC (role‑based access control), configuring SQL/Dataverse connectors, and delivering features such as dashboards, letter management, and audit trails. Adept at translating business processes into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions with strong focus on governance and best practices.
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Must‑Have Project Experience:
- Delivered at least 2 production‑grade Canvas Apps with SQL/Dataverse backends.
- Implemented approval workflows using Power Automate (multi‑step, audit‑friendly).
- Applied RBAC and environment governance (security roles, solution‑aware components).
- Model‑driven apps, Power Pages, and PCF controls.
- Custom connectors, Graph API integration, and Azure Functions back‑end services.
- Dataverse data modelling, business rules, and plug‑in basics.
- Experience with ALM via Azure DevOps (build/release pipelines for solutions).
- Knowledge of CoE Starter Kit, DLP policies, and tenant governance.
