Engine is Starling's software-as-a-service (SaaS) business, the technology that was built to power Starling Bank, and two years ago we split out as a separate business. Starling Bank has seen exceptional growth and success, and a large part of that is down to the fact that we have built our own modern technology from the ground up. This SaaS technology platform is now available to banks and financial institutions all around the world, enabling them to benefit from the innovative digital features and efficient back-office processes that have helped achieve Starling's success.

About the Role
The Engine Platform is a highly configurable core banking platform, supporting clients globally. This role is focused on the development and delivery of our core Platform technical strategy, such as integrations, connections, configurations, and internal tools to facilitate the platform's growth and allow our clients to integrate with their local providers into the platform.
As a Technical Platform Owner at Engine, you will collaborate closely with teams across Technology and work with our engineering and product teams to ensure that our technology platform meets the needs of our clients and partner engineers who integrate with it. You will also ensure that the platform aligns with the company's broader technical strategy and long-term goals and make integrating with Engine as seamless as possible.

We think being good at product requires clear communication, a sense of focus, and to challenge the conventional ways of doing things.
