Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure customer networks are documented as part of project handovers.
  • Install, configure, fault find, report and maintain routers, switches and firewalls.
  • Completion of site surveys to enable installation.
  • Rack, charger and telecoms equipment installation and commissioning to an excellent standard.
  • Create Health and Safety documentation such as RAMS, POWRA to ensure H&S measures are adhered to.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments.
  • Strong background in IP networking, including CCNA-level knowledge, WAN, LAN, and MPLS.
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms, including Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P.
  • Excellent understanding of routing, switching, and data networking principles.
  • Experience working with XTran technology.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming.
