Are you an experienced infrastructure professional ready to step into a strategic architecture role where you can shape end-to-end IT and OT solutions across a complex and evolving technical environment?
This is a hands-off Solution Architect position focused on defining and aligning technology solutions across infrastructure, networks, security, enterprise systems, and operational technology. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to produce clear, structured designs ready for delivery.
You will play a key role in translating business requirements into high-quality technical solutions, ensuring consistency, scalability, and long-term supportability. The position offers exposure to both legacy manufacturing systems and modern cloud-based platforms within a hybrid environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in infrastructure engineering, alongside solid networking and cybersecurity knowledge. You will be confident engaging stakeholders, challenging ideas constructively, and driving consensus across multiple teams.
The Role:
- Lead end-to-end solution design across infrastructure, networks, security, and OT
- Produce high- and low-level designs, diagrams, and documentation
- Align technical stakeholders to a single agreed solution approach
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Provide architectural oversight during project delivery
The Person:
- Strong infrastructure engineering background (servers, storage, virtualisation)
- Experience designing solutions across multiple technical domains
- Good understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles
- Experience in hybrid environments including cloud and legacy systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
