Our Government client is seeking multiple Principal Test Engineers with "Head of QA" level experience. The role is INSIDE IR35, with a hybrid travel requirement to London. SC clearance is required but can be sponsored, provided the candidate is eligible.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrable passion for Test Engineering and experience or skills in:
- Working at senior leadership level, establishing and maintaining organizational networks, and engaging with other senior leaders.
- Leading a technical service or team of test engineers.
- Developing organizational test approaches for Quality Engineering, CI/CD, and release management within complex agile environments.
- Understanding and experience with cloud services, microservice architecture, performance quality engineering, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and SRE principles.
- Setting strategic direction for test automation frameworks, test infrastructure, environment optimization, virtualization, and containerization.
- Designing, building, deploying, and improving test engineering capabilities supporting QAT strategies.
- Deploying a broad range of tools and techniques, including open-source technologies, with experience in scaling quality engineering and modern programming languages like Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
