Role
A practical, operationally credible Data Architect who can sit with targeteers, intelligence staff, mission planners and Digital Warfighters, understand where information slows down real operations, and turn that into usable data models, standards and integration patterns for our Maritime DTW efforts.
Responsibilities
- Identify key data frictions and opportunities in a live and priority mission thread β what data is needed/available, where it sits, who owns it, why it is hard to trust / share / exploit, and what needs to change.
- Deliver short- term changes that help decisions be made faster and with more confidence.
- Identify opportunities and requirements for automation and AI, such as a common targeting data model, a clear map of systems and information flows, agreed data owners and standards, and ensure they inform and shape the technical architecture β both MAB, MFW and DTW.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Data Architect with a focus on operational environments (Maritime DTW preferred).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, standards, and integration patterns.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (targeteers, intelligence staff, mission planners, Digital Warfighters).
- Experience with automation/AI integration in data architecture.
- Security clearance: candidates who have held high-level clearance are preferred; successful applicants must be security cleared prior to appointment, which may take a minimum of 18 weeks.
- Equal Opportunity Employer
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
We welcome applications from all individuals, regardless of background or identity, and encourage candidates who may not meet every listed requirement to still apply.
