Overview
PMO Planner. Must have an Active DV clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and assure integrated project and programme schedules.
- Establish and manage baseline plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Maintain alignment between master programme plans and individual project schedules.
- Monitor schedule performance, identifying variances, slippage, risks, and dependencies.
- Produce planning metrics, dashboards, and reporting for governance forums and customer reviews.
- Support schedule assurance activities, health checks, and internal reviews.
- Promote planning best practice and ensure compliance with governance and contractual requirements.
- Support recovery planning and continuous improvement of planning processes, templates, and tools.
- Provide planning expertise and constructive challenge to Project and Programme Managers.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience within a PMO planning or scheduling role supporting complex programmes.
- Strong understanding of programme and project lifecycle planning.
- Experience maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects or workstreams.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel with strong Power Point and Word skills.
- Experience using Share Point and programme document repositories.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organised, proactive, collaborative, and delivery focused.
