Working in a small dynamic team, reporting to the Delivery Manager and supporting the Head of UX. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative customer-focused solutions. As the Client spans both customer-centric and policy/contract-centric technology, and provides services that merge the two, this position requires a person who is comfortable in and can effectively address both.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a passion for the development of groundbreaking, mobile-optimized digital solutions to enhance the customer experience. This position offers creative freedom and will suit a candidate with an eye for smart, user-friendly design who is self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
The role requires the incumbent to have at least 2 to 5 years of experience as a Developer with some design capabilities.
Skills required for this position include:
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery
- XML/JSON
- Experience taking mock-ups and prototypes to working web models
- Experience creating responsive websites, preferably with frameworks like Bootstrap or similar
- Building with a CMS
It would be useful but not mandatory to have experience of the following:
- SCSS/SASS
- Communication with Web Services using JSON or XML (preferably using AJAX in jQuery)
- Some exposure to, or experience with PHP
- Exposure to the UX development process
- Design/Prototyping with Axure or myBalsamiq
- Tableau
Salary range: £30K - 40K + Benefits
