CI Engineer with Java - DevOps Team
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience.
4+ years engineering experience with large-scale applications.
Ability to apply complex principles, theories and concepts of the technical discipline and provide solutions to a wide range of complex tasks, projects and problems.
Advanced knowledge and proficiency with source control systems, preferably git.
Experience using and configuring continuous integration tools (Hudson, Jenkins, etc.).
Proficient with Java based build systems and related tools (Maven, Nexus, etc.).
Expertise developing in Java language.
Expert with scripting languages (python, perl, groovy etc.).
Strong desire to automate build, test, deployment, and related activities.
Ability to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service requirement.
Able to collaborate and work effectively across multiple teams with varying skillsets.
The position will be based near Manchester. This is a 3 month contract to start immediately.
