Cloud Architect with Gen AI Skills (6‑Month Contract)
Based: Hybrid – 2‑3 days onsite in Norwich.
Rate: £Market rates p/d via Umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities- Ensure designs align with evolving strategic Cloud platforms.
- Act as Technical Design Authority for new Cloud technologies focusing on GenAI.
- Provide consultancy, best practice, and architectural support to internal teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest Cloud technologies.
- Delight customers through the design of affordable, sustainable cloud solutions.
- Cloud Architecture design principles (e.g., AWS Well‑Architected Framework).
- n‑Tier Architectures, Event‑Driven Architecture, Serverless, network and Cloud security.
- Configuration and lifecycle management.
- CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing and modern SDLC methodologies.
- Business protection standards, CIS benchmarks or ISO 27001.
- Proficient in AWS, with an equivalent AWS certification.
- Experience creating architectural patterns and technology evaluations.
- Experience building solutions in AWS.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills and curiosity.
- Ability to articulate complex technical problems to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Understanding of modern application architectures and their dependencies on the cloud infrastructure platform.
- Experience with other Cloud providers.
- Experience working in a regulated workplace.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience presenting and sharing knowledge with diverse audiences.
