Job Description:
Overview: Join CGI\’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit as a Cloud Architect supporting the Ministry of Defence with cloud migration projects. You will work with a team to design and implement complex legacy system migrations to modern cloud platforms, ensuring security and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level migration solutions and define future-state architecture.
- Create comprehensive high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Analyze legacy systems and assess gaps for cloud readiness.
- Design migration strategies and roadmaps.
- Produce technical documentation and support project artefacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in hybrid cloud solutions architecture, solution analysis, and design.
- Proven experience in cloud migration, especially in MOD/Defence environments.
- Knowledge of networking, secure design principles, and service architecture.
- Stakeholder management skills.
