Are you a technically minded graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop your skills across software engineering, data, cloud infrastructure and live sports technology while working with real-world systems and datasets that directly support professional sports environments? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology-focused organisation operating within the sports and betting sector. You will gain hands-on experience across software development, data processing, cloud platforms and production systems, working with modern technologies including Python, Go, TypeScript, AWS, SQL and Docker.

In this varied role, you will help develop and maintain software applications, process and validate sports data, support cloud-based infrastructure and investigate technical issues across live environments. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to both day-to-day operations and longer-term technical projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a technical or numerate discipline and have a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, databases and software systems. This role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving, learning new technologies and understanding how complete systems operate in production environments.

The Role:
  • Develop, test and maintain software using Python, Go and TypeScript
  • Process, analyse and validate live and historical sports datasets
  • Support cloud infrastructure, applications and production systems
  • Write SQL queries and work with relational databases
  • Troubleshoot software, data and infrastructure-related issues
  • Contribute to technical projects, documentation and system improvements
The Person:
  • Degree qualified in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or similar
  • Understanding of programming principles and software development
  • Experience with at least one programming language
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
