Role Description:
- Location - client office at Sheffield/Birmingham with 3 days/week work from office
- PMO manager with experience of Business case support/definition
Responsibilities:
- Supervise PMO activities and provide business case support/definition as required.
- Engage with C-Suite level stakeholders within the bank, MD level and above, and manage relationships with these levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate experience facing off against high-level stakeholders and provide delivery assurance.
- Manage a portfolio or background of running a small portfolio.
- Operate at a portfolio level: understand and collate the ask and information needed.
- Ask the tough questions.
- Flag and manage risks, issues, blockers and escalation.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills (VB / Macros experience).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work at pace and produce high-quality work with high-quality expectations.
- Comfortable in an ever-changing environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data Analysis: analyse project data, including performance metrics, financial data, and resource utilization.
- Report Generation: create detailed and high-quality reports that provide insights into project status, performance, and outcomes.
- Dashboard Development: create interactive and visual dashboards for stakeholders using reporting tools and software.
- Stakeholder Management: communicate effectively with stakeholders at C-Suite level, understanding needs and presenting information clearly.
- Presentation Skills: present complex data and insights in an easily understandable way, tailored to different audiences; prepare for questions/challenges from C-Suite stakeholders.
- Documentation: document processes, methodologies, and project statuses in a clear and structured format.
