In this role, you will sit at the heart of software delivery, working across engineering, QA, architecture and product to translate validated business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will help shape system designs, manage competing architectural and business demands, and ensure teams have the clarity they need to deliver effectively.
You will be heavily involved in backlog creation and refinement, breaking down complex ideas into epics, stories and tasks, while ensuring non‑functional requirements such as performance, security and scalability are clearly defined. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable operating as a developer or tester when required to support sprint goals.

The Role:
- Translate business requirements into detailed system requirements and backlog items.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to produce solution and system designs aligned to standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including UML and design artefacts.
- Break down work into clear epics, stories and tasks within Jira.
- Identify and mitigate technical delivery risks through reviews and proof‑of‑concepts.
The Person:
- Experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Test Analyst or Software Engineer.
- Strong understanding of agile software development lifecycles.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence.
- While not being expected to code, you should have an understanding of Java, Python and SQL.
- Confident working across development, QA and architecture teams.
