The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Quant Researcher – Mid Frequency Futures who is driven to innovate and lead within a supportive framework that values independence and strategic risk taking.

This role is ideal for a professional skilled in exploiting price dislocations in the futures space, particularly in equity indices, commodities and fixed income accommodating both high-frequency and mid-frequency systematic trading approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently develop and execute innovative futures trading strategies, with a strong focus on maximizing dollar returns through a deep understanding of market dynamics.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology to analyze trends and adapt strategies rapidly to changing market conditions.
• Maintain open communication with management, ensuring a transparent trading process that aligns with the firm’s strategic goals.
• Cultivate a collaborative team environment, supporting the main PM and collaborating with other quants, and fostering a culture of continuous professional growth and innovation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven expertise in running strategies within institutional portfolios with a consistent track record of high performance.
• Preferably a realized Sharpe ratio of 4 to 6 and a minimum of $5m in PnL.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in advanced trading platforms and algorithmic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with a strong sense of ownership over trading strategies and results.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, capable of building trust and driving team success in a high-stakes environment.

Compensation:

• A competitive salary ~$150,000-$200,000 and a competitive bonus structure.
• Opportunities for profit sharing ranging from 8-15% of PnL after costs.
