Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support Vehicle Production Planning, Production Control, and Manufacturing Configuration activities.
The role involves working closely with Production Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate vehicle configurations and manufacturing data validation prior to production build phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production planning and production control activities for vehicle build programs.
- Configure, validate, and maintain manufacturing data and vehicle configurations before production builds.
- Perform root cause analysis for production, configuration, and manufacturing data-related issues.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies impacting production readiness.
- Work with multiple systems and databases to manage product and manufacturing information.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production and manufacturing data to support decision-making.
- Prepare reports, track issues, and drive corrective actions using strong analytical methods.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth build execution.
- Required Skills
- Experience in Production Planning and/or Production Control Systems.
- Strong hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, error identification, validation, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working with manufacturing systems and configuration management processes.
- Good understanding of automotive manufacturing and production processes.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Product 42 Database.
- Knowledge of DSA Prodis.
- Exposure to End-of-Line (EOL) manufacturing or testing processes.
- Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, VBA, SQL, etc.) would be an advantage.
