Overview: We are looking for experienced Engineers to work on the development of advanced seating components and systems for passenger cars. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise in the design, development, and integration of seating sub-systems including headrests, slide adjusters, backrests, armrests, recliners, and seat frames.
Open Roles & Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead technical delivery for seating systems or specific components
- Coordinate technical stories delivering key EPICs for ADJ/PD checkpoints
- Drive concept development and validation aligned with engineering gateways
- Develop commodity plans for Long Lead items
- Conduct and lead Engineering Based Engineering Reviews (EBER) Level 0
- Ensure seating geometry freeze in alignment with VEPs and program timing
- Support change requests and lead impact analysis (cost, weight, investment, CO2e)
- Liaise with suppliers and cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, CAE, Testing)
Required Experience (All Roles):
- Proven experience in the design and development of seating systems in passenger cars
- Deep understanding of seating sub-systems: headrests, slide adjusters, backrests, armrests, recliners, seat frames, etc.
- Hands-on exposure to full product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Proficient in CATIA/3Dx (especially for CAD roles)
