Role: Seating Engineer – Lead/Project/CAD

Location: Warwickshire

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Seating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in automotive seating systems, with a strong focus on long lead item development, concept validation, and cross-functional technical coordination. This role plays a critical part in delivering advanced product designs aligned with major ADJ/PD checkpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

– Coordinate technical stories delivering key EPICs for ADJ/ PD checkpoints

– Developing concepts alongside Tech Centre Lead and assessing Vs established Bill of Designs

– Documenting any early DV requirements

– Develop commodity plans (for Long Lead items only)

– Conduct EBER (Engineering Based Engineering Review) Level 0 for new concepts (Long Lead items only)

– Support change requests with Investment/ piece cost/ mass and CO2e data

– All DS’s Created – Linked to EBOM/ Product Structure

– ADJ level geometry frozen (in line with VEPs requirements)

– Concept CAD generation to support assessing different design solutions

– Proficient in 3Dx

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related disciplin
