JD: Connected services fall into the service groups such as Remote, EV, Navigation & Swarm, Infotainment, Call services, App studio, Core services and Data services. The application services include both prebuilt as well as on-the-air downloadable applications in HMI. Few of the services such as remote locking/unlocking also involve interactions of vehicle with the mobile apps. Integration, deployment, and initial testing of the existing connected car (or digital) services. Responsibility for delivering connected services within a vehicle project, supporting them after deployment (e.g. resolving customer complaints/field issues) Supporting updates/changes as required to the connected services. Resolve technical issues related to existing services (found during vehicle model year development and field issues) Support the integration, deployment, and initial testing on new model years of vehicles using a given E-E architecture Support the introduction of new 3rd party apps on my e.g. OEM App Studio
